Victor Bautista is a videographer and media encoding coordinator. He arrived at Hemi as a transplant from USC's School of Cinematic Arts. In three years as a production coordinator at The Labyrinth Project, Victor shot, edited, and conceptualized documentary and narrative sequences for an arts and research initiative. His work is featured in Jewish Homegrown History: Immigration, Identity and Intermarriage, a 2012 multimedia installation at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. Prior to Labyrinth he worked in production and post-production in the film and video game industries. Victor holds a BA in Ethnic Studies from UCBerkeley where he explored themes of identity, otherness and alienation through visual media. Victor has taught English as a second language at Berlitz in Beverly Hills, studied Spanish at instituto Forester Internacional in San José, and completed coursework at Universidade Candido Mendes in Rio de Janeiro. He loves to travel, play pick up basketball at home or abroad, and eat street food anywhere and anytime.
