One approach to community work is to create an environment that produces a sense of autonomy in all those who participate. An autonomy that is closely related to the leadership/ power structure of a particular group. How do we understand autonomy? What does it mean to have a truly autonomous approach to leadership. For instance, leading from the back as opposed to walking in front of a particular group.
