This issue maps the changing intersections of religion and biopolitics, examining the convergent trajectories of religion, subjectivity, and the State in the wake of neoliberal regimes across the Americas. The essays, interviews, and art works contained herein seek to foreground emerging and longstanding social conflicts activated by these processes and to suggest an open-ended multidisciplinary map for the critical engagement of these issues in the American hemisphere.
