Biography

Fulana is a video and performance collective created in 2000 by four Latinas in New York City. Using parody and satire, their work delves into topics affecting the Latino communities in the U.S., and responds to the ways products and ideas are marketed and sold to us through the mass media.

Johanna Householder is a performance and video artist and a Professor at the Ontario College of Art and Design, Canada. She was a notorious member of the satirical feminist performance emsemble, "The Clichettes." She is one of the founders of the "7a*11d International Festival of Performance Art," a biennale held in Toronto.
