Impostures
An installation that asks participants/actors to have their portraits taken in thematic corners created by the artist, enacting a repertoire of photographic poses arranged for and performed by brides and grooms. The intention is to fabricate a provocative mirror that invites reflection on the values that we hold, those that we recreate as a society.
Biographies
Mariana Sosnowski earned a degree in Image and Sound Design from the University of Buenos Aires. She works independently, producing audiovisual events for businesses, institutions and individuals in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Verónica Vitullo earned her BA in Image and Sound Design and her Masters in Architecture, Design, and Urbanism at the University of Buenos Aires. She is a photographer and audiovisual artist, and she teaches at the Centro de Heurística de la Secretaría de Investigación and leads workshops for at-risk youth.
