Teresa Ralli: Disassembling Antígona Fran Pollitt

Disassembling Antígona

What creative process does an actor undergo to arrive at a performance? How does she construct a stage language to bring the performance to life? How do the director and the actor enter into dialogue to stage “Antigone”? This demonstration is motivated by the questions that emerged during the process of creating the performance.

Teresa Ralli is a founding member of Grupo Cultural Yuyachkani, her main space of experimentation and creation. She is an actress, director and professor, researching Voice and Body. She is also a Professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, where she received a degree in Communications and a graduate’s degree in Theatre Arts for a distinguished career.
