Wânia Storolli
In this workshop we will develop a reflection on the presence of the voice and its transformation in the public spaces of today. The purpose of the investigation and creation process is to create a performance/installation that will be formed by the practices, readings, discussions and vocal research proposed, also involving material developed by the participants themselves, text fragments, conversations, glossolalia, words, phonemes, different languages, snippets of melodies and songs.
Biography
Wânia Storolli majored in music at the Universidade de São Paulo, continuing her studies in Germany. In Berlin she studied with Zygmunt Molik (member of the Grotowsky’s Laboratory Theatre). Since 1992 she has taught workshops in various cultural centers such as SESC and São Paulo Cultural Center as well as at international festivals like PERFORMA’07 at the Universidade de Aveiro, Portugal.
