Apply / Propose a Project
Deadline: Monday, October 29, 2018

Encuentro participation is by application only. You must fill out an online application form, where you will submit all required materials. Application deadline is Monday October 29, 2018. All those who are interested in attending the Encuentro as general participants—even without proposing a project—must still apply using the application form.

In order to create an application in the system, you must complete the following:

Basic Inforation Form

On the Basic Information Form you will be asked to enter the following: your contact information, a statement of intent (why you want to attend the Encuentro), a brief biography, and a resume/C.V. You must fill out this form in order to submit your Encuentro Application.

Submissions Overview

On the Submissions Overview, let us know what type of projects you will be submitting. You will be asked to submit individual project proposals in the next step. You may propose more than one project (up to 3 per category) by selecting multiple boxes. Projects may include performance proposals, street art-action proposals, and applications to participate in one of the listed work groups. You must fill out the Submissions Overview before you can submit project proposals and to submit your Encuentro Application.

Online Application Form

To apply to the Encuentro, please see the online application form here:

How do you know your Encuentro application has been submitted? Your application to the Encuentro will be considered submitted once each section's status is marked as "Complete" on this page. The application review process will begin after the application deadine has passed. You will be able to edit your Bio, Statement of Intent, and CV in your Basic Information Form up until the deadline. If there are Project Proposals still marked as "In Progress" after the deadline, they will not be reviewed. If your Basic Information Form is marked as "Incomplete" at the time of the deadline, your Encuentro application will not be considered.
