Weavings
This movement performance by dancer and choreographer Hellmut Gottschild is an exploration of non-mechanical, or organic, repetition, which is a movement style characterized by quirks and imprecision. The performance is inspired by the textiles of the Kuba people of then-Zaire, which is now known as the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
