Homenagem é um ato de agenciamento corporal do gênero queer. É uma oferenda de vulnerabilidade. A obra abre feridas já cicatrizadas no meu corpo, para reativar a energia psíquica armazenada ali e para convidar a audiência a erradicar as fronteiras entre nós.
Biografia
Kris Grey/Justin Credible , artista domiciliado em Nova Iorque, questiona os sistemas de poder pela lente do gênero. Sua obra situa-se na interseção entre a comunicação, o ativismo, o desenvolvimento comunitário, a contação de estórias, a palestra e a produção em estúdio em mídias bidimensionais, tridimensionais e baseadas no tempo.
Homage
Homage is an act of gender queer corporeal agency. It is an offering of vulnerability. Homage opens wounds that have healed on my body to reactivate the psychic energy stored there and to invite the audience to eradicate the boundaries between us.
Biography
Kris Grey/Justin Credible is a New York City based artist whose practice interrogates systems of power through the lens of gender. Their work exists at the intersection of communication, activism, community building, storytelling, lecture, and studio production in mediums two dimensional, three dimensional, and time based.
