Dynasty Handbag's Soggy Glasses, A Homo’s Odyssey (2014) is a feminist epic of self-exploration. Handbag parodies Homer’s Odyssey by revising the masculine allegory through a queer lens. Through her signature blend of physical humor and camp aesthetics, Handbag takes viewers on a journey through her heart, mind, bowels, and "artist colon-y." She employs the female physical and spiritual body as the terrain for her journey home. Ultimately, Handbag works to dismantle patriarchy through a feminist body politic that calls for the end of phallocentric logic.
